Warm-up stretches before golf

The video is in Thai, with Thai captions on screen.

Golf can cause injuries if your technique is off or you play for long periods without a break.

Common problems include back pain, shoulder pain, and inflamed wrists and elbows, usually from repeating the same swing.

Stretch before you play

  • Hold each stretch for about 10–20 seconds
  • Move slowly and don’t force it

Stretching before a round makes your body more flexible, helps your swing feel smoother and lowers the chance of getting hurt while you play.

Move slowly and stay within a pain-free range. Stop and see a doctor if pain gets worse or you feel numbness or pain that spreads.
